Lemon Tree On the Go Hand Cleanser | Waterless Hand Cleaner

On-the-go instant hand cleanser with lemongrass and tea tree oil. 

Tea tree oil and lemongrass oil are thought to be antibacterial. Instant hand cleanser that smells fresh and clean. Wash on the go with no needed water. We use the amount of alcohol recommended by the CDC (Center of Disease Control) to safely use as a hand sanitizer. The CDC recommends using at least 60%. Which means you have to have at least 60% in the finished product. The alcohol content is calculated after the product is completed. We use ethyl alcohol that is 95% by volume.  Check out our ingredients. Each bottle contains 2 ounces with a flip cap. 

Active Ingredients: Ethyl alcohol (63.3%)

Inactive Ingredients: Organic aloe vera (99.75%), Glycerin, Agar (natural thickener), citric acid (to stabilize), Ascorbic acid (Vitamin C), Potassium sorbet (for an extended shelf life), lemongrass essential oil, organic tea tree oil. 

The consistency is not as thick as you would expect. For us there is no point in making it if we can't make it as healthy as possible. We use ethyl alcohol instead of rubbing alcohol because chemicals have not been added to it. Rubbing alcohol that contains ethanol is 'denatured,' meaning that toxic substances are added to it to prevent people from drinking it. However, both types of alcohol are effective if you calculate the right percentage in the finished product.
